WHAT IS DENIM DAY?
Denim Day originated from an unjust court ruling made in the 1990's in Italy which resulted in judgement against a victim of sexual assault for her wearing of "tight jeans". Since then, wearing jeans has become an international symbol of solidarity to end all forms of gender violence, sexual misconceptions, and physical aggresion.
Denim Day is observed across world and we encourage everyone to show their support by wearing their best denim.Help us raise awareness on rape and sexual assault. Visit Denim Day for more information.
